Vantiv launches #FranchisePlayers campaign to highlight independent businesses

Vantiv, a payment processor and technology provider, is increasing its support for independent businesses  through the social media campaign #FranchisePlayers. 

Vantiv is asking users to tag their favorite small business merchants on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn for companies throughout the U.S.

The tagged companies will be featured on Vantiv's digital Hall of Fame. Additionally, users who tag businesses will be entered into a drawing for a trip to the 2018 MLB All-Star Game in Washington D.C.

Despite many of the businesses in the U.S. being large companies, there are still a huge number of small businesses employing Americans and Vantiv is doing its best to highlight these.

The campaign is similar to the concept of Small Business Saturday, which is held the Saturday after Black Friday to bring public awareness to smaller companies.
