Saladworks recently partnered with Bethesda, Maryland’s Gusto POS to utilize its next-generation, cloud-based enterprise platform and updated its systems in almost 100 restaurants following a successful 2017 test run.
Saladworks is a franchise business developed in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania delivering fast-casual entrée salad products since 1986, while Gusto POS serves the restaurant industry nationwide with an advanced integrated POS transaction solutions platform.
The integration of Gusto POS into Saladworks’ operations creates an ongoing partnership. During the rollout, Gusto worked closely with every franchisee to ensure a smooth transition. Both Saladworks CEO Patrick Sugrue and Gusto POS executive Niko Papademetriou spoke highly of the process.
“Converting our entire brand to Gusto POS has been an important fundamental step in our future planning,” Sugrue stated. “Gusto provides us real-time access to our data and improves speed of service … allowing us to actively better our business and manage our brand.”
Papademetriou concurred, calling the collaboration easy.
“Working with Saladworks and their team of franchisee coaches was a breeze,” Papademetriou said. “We felt comfortable leveraging them to take full ownership of the install process while we provided project management.”
Saladworks operates 110 restaurant locations in 15 states.
