Future POS from POS Partners has been chosen by Cary Country Club (CCC) in Chicago for business-related tasks including mobile credit card processing, loyalty program support, complete system integration and remote operations review, according to a press release.
The 18-hole golf course, pro-shop and full-service restaurant and bar is a unique venue in the Chicago area, which brought its own unique set of challenges.
Previous POS software programs that CCC used were not sophisticated enough for the needs of the club, which left Cary missing out on functions that newer systems provide.
"Fore Reservations (the existing software) was really set up to run a golf club and a small snack shop, whereas we're running a full-service restaurant and we were really pushing (the POS system) to its max and there were a lot of things it couldn't do for us," said Debra Grochocinski, manager of Cary's restaurant.
In addition to offering a loyalty program and swipe ability at golf course beverage carts, Future POS also enabled the club to enjoy Wi-Fi on the golf course, handle restaurant options and track transactions and sales tax, as well as monitor customers on the mobile phones for managers.
Cary Country Club is excited to move forward with the help of Future POS and POS Partners, according to the release.
